InfoSolutions has participated in the Partner Direct Support Program (PDSP)
since its inception in 1999. We are fully authorized by FAST to provide direct
software maintenance and technical support (M&S) for a variety of FAST products
(contact us for a specific list). Because we have nearly always helped in
implementing the FAST software and solutions for our clients, we understand
their systems and structure from the outset and are therefore in a prime position
to be of service in the event of problems with the software.
The "Maintenance" part of the M&S program allows participating clients to receive
all the upgrades, updates, patches, maintenance releases, bug fixes, etc. as generally
released by FAST during the term of an M&S Agreement at no additional cost beyond the
annual M&S fees. The "Support" part of M&S entitles participants to contact InfoSolutions
as often as needed per the terms of an individual agreement to resolve situations where
the software is not functioning properly. For example, this addresses "bugs" in the
software and the support we provide covers clients until a resolution is achieved.
As part of the PDSP, FAST engineers back us up in the event we need to escalate a support
incident to them for a code-based resolution.
If you would like to see a boiler plate version of a typical M&S Agreement, please
contact one of our sales representatives. If you have FAST software
(regardless of where you purchased
it) and would like to have a FAST Partner provide the software Maintenance and Support
for that software, please contact one of our sales representatives and we can discuss
with you the details and costs of our program. As a guideline, typically, the cost for
M&S is 20% of the list price of the software to be covered.
