the Acquisition of InfoSolutions by Search Technologies
Summary
We believe that the acquisition will be a great thing for
you, our valuable InfoSolutions’ customers, since we will provide consistency
and continuity while expanding our capacity and capability to serve your needs
even better than before, and to offer new solutions to a variety of business
needs that we haven’t addressed in the past.
1. Q:
Whom should I contact when I need something?
A: We will still be here and will continue to service your account as we have
in the past. The same InfoSolutions staff will continue to provide you with the
top quality service you’ve come to expect.
2. Q:
What about the Contracts and/or Agreements we have in place with InfoSolutions?
A: All existing contracts and agreements will continue to be honored and there
will be no interruption in delivery of any contracted services.
3. Q:
Will there be any changes to the products offered and serviced?
A: We will continue to service the same product lines and solutions you are
currently using. InfoSolutions and Search Technologies have both been partners
with FAST and Microsoft, so there will be no change in that regard. We will
have additional products to offer, but will continue to support the ones you are currently
using.
4. Will
we have access to any new products and services?
A: In the coming days and months, we will be able to offer you many additional
solutions, both products and services, that will allow
us to continue to serve the needs we have served in the past as well as many
others that we have not. There are at least two dimensions to this:
a.
We will be able to enhance the services that we
have provided all along due to the depth of internal resources we will now have
access to, and
b.
We will be able to introduce new options for
solutions that we previously did not offer.

How can I find out more about the additional products and services you offer?
A: We look forward to subsequent emails, phone calls and/or visits during which
we can tell you more details about the additional products and services we will
be able to offer.

How big is the combined organization and where are your offices located?
A: As a merged organization, Search Technologies has about 70 people overall,
with a development staff of approximately 55 programmers and technical
resources. There are several developments offices in the United States and two
abroad. Corporate Headquarters is located in Herndon, VA is. Other offices are
located in: Crestview Hills, KY / Cincinnati, OH; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles,
CA, Salt Lake City, UT; Ascot, UK and San Jose, Costa Rica.
7. Q:
What are some specific benefits I can expect from the acquisition?
A: One potential benefit from the multiple locations may be that geographic
proximity to certain resources could reduce travel time and expenses. An
additional benefit is a programming staff with a broader overall skill set than
we have had available in the past. Also, we will have access to certain work
product that may reduce total time to build solutions.
8. Q:
Are there any practical or logistical changes I need to be aware of?
A: During the initial transition period, all of your key contacts will remain
the same, although there will eventually be some changes to email addresses,
possibly phone numbers, and the like. We will inform you of any such changes as
we move ahead.
9. Q:
Will I always keep the same contacts I have now?
A: At some point, there may be some different points of contact related to
services, such as additional personnel that may be involved on one of your
projects or you may need to use a different mailing address to remit payments.
We will announce any such changes as needed.

What if I have questions not addressed here on the website or on the Search
Technologies (www.searchtechnologies.com)
website?
A: InfoSolutions staff is available now or at any time in the coming days or
weeks if you want to ask further questions about our relationship with you.
